NAMI 0284 Debut-2

A concept car from 1987 from the Soviet Union - the NAMI 0284 Debut-2. A lot of interesting and advanced concepts were built in USSR in this period - those like NAMI Okhta, Kompakt or the Moskvich Istra. This car wasn't really an innovation monster, it featured a serial produced engine, pneumatic suspension and a very low drag coefficient, only 0,23! So it definitely diserves a place in the collection:

Wartburg 355 - A stilysh coupe for the working class

The last piece of the collection of the DDR prototypes is the Wartburg 355. Built in 1968 it was a beautiful and modern looking coupe for its time. It featured a 1.1 litre 4-stroke engine from Renault:

Robur O611 - An alien from the DDR

A very strange and yet beautiful design was the cab of the Robur O611. Started developing in 1974 it was meant to replace both the cab of the Robur and the IFA produced in the DDR. Enjoy another vintage crazy styling:
