Technoklassika 2015 - All about chrome!

Last Friday we went to one of the most important retro cars event in Germany - The Technoklassika is Essen. A huge area of 120 000 square meters was completely filled with classic cars. Most of them are for sale! For us however it is a huge portion of eye candy.
The halls were divided in small areas where classic car dealers showed their cars. There were also official brand stands, where some museum cars were showcased. I will try to show you the most unique ones, and the ones I liked.

IAA Hannover 2014

Another event we visited in september last year was the IAA for commercial vehicles in Hannover.

It is something different from the IAA in Frankfurt. Because commercial vehicles are built for making money, the most public at the show were people in smokings doing serious bussiness. Another group were the people who works on these vehicles - Eastern Europe truck drivers. And as last of course a lot of chinese with cameras.

Prototypes were built and tested since 1967. After the KAMAZ factory was built the prototypes and documentation was handed over to Kamaz. This trucks were called ZIL 170 and 175:

GAZ 2308 Ataman

Quite a strange vehicle today. It's a pickup truck created by the GAZ factory in 1995. It has a front looking like a Volga and the cab was used from a mid-sized truck GAZ 3307. It had good offroad abilities and could carry 1000kg, however over a 50 cars were built.
